Parish Finance
Last weekend’s income was: Offertory Collection: £464 .00 2nd Collection: £358.00 (New Boiler collection). Many thanks to all parishioners for your continuous financial help to the parish and to the Archdiocese. Much appreciated. Our second collection this weekend is again taken up in support of the apostolate of communications
 
Special Appeal for the replacement of our Oil Boiler
Many thanks to all our parishioners for your generous contribution towards the installation of a new Oil Boiler in the Church Hall. The cumulated sum raised so far totals: £800+. We will continue to appeal for more help in future. Once again many thanks.
 
FFC (Fabric and Finance Council) Meeting
The will be FFC meeting on Monday 3rd June 2019 at 7.00pm in the chapel house. All members please take note.

Communication Sunday
This Sunday, 2nd June 2019 is World Communications Sunday, and our second collection is to be taken up for the apostolate of communications.
 
St Martin’s Primary School Family Fun Day
Saturday 9th June 10am - 2pm. Bouncy Castle, Face Painting, Football Tournament, Raffle, Tombola and Dancing Display. Donations for the raffle or tombola would be gratefully received and may be given to Margaret Mary Mooney, Stephen Storrie or handed into the school.

New Vicar General
The Archbishop Most Rev Philip Tartaglia has appointed Monsignor Hugh Bradley, Parish Priest of Holy Cross, Crosshill, as Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Glasgow in succession to Monsignor Paul Conroy. The appointment took effective from 12 noon on Tuesday 28th May 2019. We pray that God will guide him in his new task.

The June edition of The Flourish, the Archdiocesan newspaper is available. Please collect your copy from the back of the church.
 
20-40 Network Events

Salesian Sisters’ Jubilee
To celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the Salesian Sisters arriving in Scotland, Mass will be celebrated by Bishop John Keenan at 3.00pm on Saturday 24th August in St. Fergus Church, Ferguslie Park, Paisley. All are invited to share in this celebration of Holy Mass and for a buffet in the school hall afterwards. We would love to see people who have been involved with our work anywhere in Scotland. If you intend coming for and staying for the buffet please let us know for catering purposes.
