St Martin's Youth Group
Our new Youth Group will meet for the first time on Sunday 10th December from 6.30 until 8.00pm in the church hall. It is for children from P6 upwards. The P6 children are being enrolled in the Pope Francis Faith Award, which is a two-year, program to help develop the children's understanding of their faith in preparation for their Confirmation. Older pupils from P7 onwards are welcome to join the Youth Group as young leaders. They will benefit from the Pope Francis Faith Award program and be supported to become full active members of the parish. For further information contact Jennifer Gorman. Cinderella 9th December 7pm - for one night only!
Cinderella, our Parish Panto is on next Saturday 9th Dec. at 7pm. Tickets are on sale in the stall.
 
PPC (Parish Pastoral Council) Meeting.
The last quarter and end of year PPC meeting comes on the 11th December 2017 in the Chapel House at 7pm. All welcome.

Christmas Carols
The Head Teacher, Staff and Pupils of St Martin’s Primary School invite all our parishioners to their Christmas Carol Service on 18th December 2017 at 1.30pm in the parish church. Please come and support our children.
 
FFC Meeting (Fabric and Finance Council)
FFC met on Tuesday - recap on the work that has been completed since our last meeting, i.e. Porch, stall, toilets, main doors and main part of the church have now been painted. Unfortunately, there is now a leak in one of the confessional boxes and gutters require to be cleared. As a matter of urgency, we need to prioritise this work and obtain quotes before 7th December. If anyone can help with this please see Fr Anthony or any member of the FFC.

Award in Catholic Theological Education
New Catechists for the Archdiocese of Glasgow were commissioned on Monday past and old ones already commissioned were re-commissioned for another tenure. We once again congratulate and wish them fruitful ministry as Catechists especially our parishioner Jennifer Gorman—one of the newly commissioned.
 
Our Lady and St Patrick High School SSVP group
Invite senior Citizens to our annual Christmas show “White Christmas” on Wednesday 20th Dec from 1pm -3.30pm. Tea, coffee and mince pies will be served. Remember we are now in our new school at Bellsmyre.
 
AGAP—Archdiocese of Glasgow Arts Project
AGAP Festive Film and Faith will meet at 1pm for the Matinée and al also 7pm on Thursday 6th December at Mungo’s Retreat House, next to Saint Mungo’s Church, Townhead, 52 Parson St., G4 0RX. Homeless Jesus Sculpture.
The installation of the HOMELESS JESUS SCULPTURE will take place on Thursday 7 December, 11am at St George’s Tron (Beside Buchanan St Subway Entrance). All Welcome. Church and Civic Leaders, Representatives of Homelessness Projects and those who have supported the project will be in attendance to raise awareness of the homeless situation in Glasgow. Everyone is welcome to witness and celebrate this very special event in the life of the City of Glasgow
