New Gift Aid Envelopes for 2018/19
Please collect your new Gift Aid Envelopes from the back of the church. I sincerely thank everyone who has signed up for the Gift Aid Scheme, whither using the Envelopes or paying by Direct Debit. Last year we received £2,500 plus (£2.000 from small change donations) from the Inland Revenue.
To join the scheme, you need to be a tax payer then we are allowed to claim back 20% of your contributions from taxman. If you would like to find out more see Fr Anthony.
Divine Mercy Sunday
Divine Mercy Sunday falls on the first Sunday after Easter as directed by Pope John Paul II. This year it is 8th April. We will have a Holy Hour for Divine Mercy in St Martin's at 2.30-3.30pm on Sunday 8th April. This will include exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, an opportunity for confessions, veneration of the Divine Mercy image, the Chaplet and readings from Scripture and St Faustina's diary, concluding with Benediction.
FFC Meeting
To remind the members of the Fabric and Finance Council that our meeting comes up on Monday 9th April in the Chapel House at 7pm. Please take note.

Our Cluster Meeting comes up on 16th April 2018 at St Martin’s Parish Hall at 7.00pm.

The April edition of The Flourish, the Archdiocesan newspaper is available. Please collect your copy from the back of the church.
SCIAF
Please remember to return the SCIAF WEE BOX as soon as possible to enable them benefit from the UK Government’s promise of doubling the amount raised.
Patient's Religious Declaration which a person when admitted to hospital, or a relative/friend, should give to ward-staff to ensure they can see a Catholic Chaplain. This can also be achieved through a verbal-request to staff. This is necessary due to the way confidentiality rules are applied in most hospitals. Please see notice board or website for further details.
Rosary on the Coast
There are sign-up sheets and spiritual preparation sheets in the porch for anyone wishing to participate in this event on 29th April at 3pm. If anyone needs help with transport or can provide their car to help with transport please indicate this on the sign-up sheet.
