Offertory Collection: £409.00 & 2nd Collection: £243.00. Many thanks for your generosity to the parish and clergy. Highly appreciated. This weekend’s collection is taken up in support of Stella Maris Academy, Nigeria (Fr Chido).
Requiem Mass
--for the faithful departed in St Peter’s Cemetery Dalbeth, London Road, Glasgow; for all who are buried in the Local Cemeteries, or whose final committal was at Daldowie Crematorium on Sunday 5th November 2017 at 3.00pm. Car parking entry by the Good Shepherd gate. In the event of inclement weather, Mass will be offered in St Joseph’s Church Tollcross.

We welcome Fr Chido back to our parish
Fr Chido hopes to be in our parish this weekend. While in the parish, he will use the opportunity to thank the parishioners for your generosity and kindness towards the pupils and students of Stella Maris Academy in Nigeria. He still requires our assistance for the continued upkeep of these children.
Altar Servers Thank You
All the Altar servers would like to say a Very Big Thankyou to Everyone who helped make their Quiz and Ceilidh a fabulous night. A magnificent sum of £414 was raised to help with the Church Maintenance.
Halloween Party on Saturday 28th October 2017
Tickets are now on sale for the annual Halloween Party in St Martin Hall.
October Devotion 2017
We shall have October devotions to Our Lady on Mondays and Wednesdays (throughout the Month of October) at 7pm. Our devotion begins each day with the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, rosary (with litany) and finally benediction.
SSVP Conference Lunch.
The SSVP Conference of St Martin's invites all our older parishioners to a Lunch at Ballagan Garden Centre on Wednesday the 22nd of November at 130 p.m. If you wish to go please append your name to the list at the back of the Church indicating whether you require transport and choice of meal. Thank You.

20-40 Network November Event
Are you aged 20-40 and would you like to meet and socialise with other young Catholics? We've booked a table at TGI Friday's for Friday 24th November at 7:30pm and would love it if you could join us for an ‘early bird’ Christmas dinner. There will be regular menus, Christmas menus and even a ‘Secret Santa’. We've only got 20 tickets available and sales close on Friday 17th November. Everyone who comes to our events is coming on their own, into the unknown and that takes courage. We have been in this position ourselves so we understand and promise you a very welcoming atmosphere. The Summit
Calling all YOUNG PEOPLE! If you are in P7 to S6 then this invite is for you. Join the RCAG Youth Team for an afternoon of FUN FREINDHIP, FAITH and MORE! This monthly event will give you the chance to learn more about our Catholic faith, make new friends, have some fun, eat good pizza, and celebrate Holy Mass. WE kick off this Sunday, the 8th of October, in Blessed John Don Scotus Church, Ballater Street, Gorbals, G5 0YT & will run from 2pm—5pm with Mass at 3.15pm. Any questions please get in touch with youth@rcag.org.uk. Do not forget to collect your consent/registration form from your parish priest and bring it along with you on the day. Holy Mass for Newly Married Couples of 2017
Archbishop Tartaglia will celebrate Holy Mass for the newly married couples of the archdiocese in St Andrew’s Cathedral this Sunday 8th October at 3pm. All couples of the archdiocese married during the past few years are invited.
