Last weekend’s income was:
Offertory Collection: £488.00 & 2nd Collection: £269.00. Many thanks once again to all parishioners for your continuous financial help to the parish and to the Archdiocese. Highly appreciated. Our collection this week is taken in support of Catholic Education in Scotland.
 
Fabric and Finance Council (FFC) Meeting
Our last FFC meeting for the year 2018 comes up on Monday 3rd December. Please all members take note and make adequate arrangements to attend as some vital issues are to be discussed.
 
Parish and Pastoral Council (PPC) Meeting
Our last PPC meeting for the year 2018 comes up on Monday 10th December 2018 in the Chapel House at 7.00pm. New members welcome.

The November edition of The Flourish, the Archdiocesan newspaper is available. Please collect your copy from the back of the church.
 
Month of Holy Souls
Throughout this month of holy souls Masses will be offered for all our beloved ones who passed from this life and are still on their way to our heavenly homeland. Masses will be offered especially for all those in our November list on Tuesday 27thNovember. Our morning rosary said on these dates will be for the same intention too. May their souls, and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.
 
St Martin’s Christmas Family Night
--on 30th November 2018 in St Martin’s Church Hall. Tickets go on sale 24th November 2018 during all the weekend Masses. All welcome.
 
Save the Date - SVDP Outing 2019
SVDP is planning an outing to see CINDERELLA at the PAVILLION GLASGOW on Tuesday 3rd January 2019, a Matinee Performance at 1.30pm. Please see any member of the SVDP.

We announce the death of Linda Kelly (Jackson Place). Body reception on Monday November 2018 6.00pm, and funeral Mass on Tuesday 27th November at 9.30am. Eternal grant unto her O Lord and let perpetual light shine her. May she rest in peace. Amen.

Archdiocese of Glasgow Centenary Exhibition
The RE Department of the Archdiocese of Glasgow have organised an exhibition to mark the Centenary of the 1918 Education (Scotland) Act. This exhibition will be held in the Glasgow City Chambers from the 26th until 28th November 2018. The exhibition will be open to the public from 9am – 5pm each day. Everyone is welcome to attend.
 
Open Evening
"The Dumbarton SPRED group is in great need of at least three new volunteers. SPRED supports people with Learning Disabilities take part in the life of the church.  We are hosting an Open Evening on Thursday 29th November at St. Michael's Parish Hall, Cardross Road, Dumbarton at 7.00pm. Celebrate Scotland’s National Day with Music Led by a Piper; Isla McLennan, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland; The St Mungo Singers; Carissa Swan on Clarsach; Music Ensemble and Pupils of St Andrew’s Secondary School. 7pm On Thursday 29th Nov 2018 in St Margaret of Scotland Episcopal Church, 353 Kilmarnock Rd, Glasgow G43 2DS.
 
Council of Christian and Jews, West of Scotland Branch - A Celebration of Hanukkah and Advent
Come along and enjoy a celebration of food and festivity as we mark the time of Hanukkah and Advent. There will be doughnuts and cakes, as well as a presentation about the significance of both events from a representative of each community. Wednesday 5th December, 2pm at Giffnock Synagogue, 222 Fenwick Road, Giffnock G46 6UE. All welcome.
 
Blessing of the Crib
The blessing of the crib with Alba Brass and local primary schools will take place at George Square, Glasgow, on Wednesday 5th December 2018 at 6.30pm.  Music from 6pm. All welcome.

Advent Day of Confessions
