'Power in my Hand': Save the Date 
This is an advanced notice that we have secured a screening of this new, powerful, and widely acclaimed film about the Rosary in St Martin's Church Hall on 8th October at 7pm as part of October devotions programme.
We welcome Fr Chido to our parish
We are happy to welcome Fr Chido back to our parish, St Martin. He will stay with us from the 1st – 21st October and then fly back to Nigeria. He brings with him good wishes and letter(s) of appreciation from the pupils, students and staff of Stella Maris Academy, Minna, Nigeria. As has been our tradition, a second collection will taken up on the 13th October in support of the work Fr is doing at Stella Maris Academy.
October Devotion 2018
Our October devotion begins this Monday 1st October 2018 at 7.00pm with the Exposition of Blessed Sacrament, Rosary and Benediction. It will be held every Monday and Wednesday at 7pm.  As part of our devotions this year, apart from the film show (“Power in my hand”, 8th October), there will be talks on the rosary during two or three of the evenings within the month.
Holy Mass for newly Married Couples
Archbishop Tartaglia will celebrate Holy Mass for the newly married couples of the Archdiocese in Saint Andrew’s Cathedral on Sunday 7th October at 3pm. All couples of the Archdiocese married during the past few years are invited.
Rachel's Vineyard Weekend Retreat for Spiritual and Emotional Healing after Abortion
This will be held north of Glasgow on Tuesday 9th – Thursday 11th October 2018. This confidential, supportive retreat is powerful for anyone who has been affected by their own or someone else’s abortion experience. SPUC Scotland
National Conference, 200 St Vincent Street. Glasgow – Saturday 13th October 2018. This event is an excellent opportunity to hear top international speakers and learn about the exciting work being done to promote the right to life. This year we are joined by Obianuju Ekeocha: Founder & President of Culture of Life Africa and Professor John Wyatt, one of the UK’s leading Neonatal Paediatricians. We will also be hearing testimony from the award-winning youth initiative, Project Truth. The day commences with registration from 9.15am and ends at 4pm. RCAG Youth
LECTIO DIVINA is a quarterly event for S5 – 30 year olds during which Archbishop Tartaglia will be leading us in the prayerful reading of the Gospels. Afterwards there will be pizza and Compline. It will take place in Turnbull Hall, G12 8LG, 19:00 – 21:00 on Monday 8th Oct 18, 10th Dec 18, 11th Mar 19, 20th May 19.
